help choosing shaft

I'm trying to find a shaft that will produce a flatter flight and less spin than the Accuflex Evolution x-flex i have in my 9.5* D2.

I realize the d2 is a fairly high spin head but i'm not planning to change the head out because it feels and looks very good. I fight too much spin and a flight they climbs too high. SS is apprx 120mph give or take 5 mph. spin rate like i said is quite high, usually in the higher 3000's. LA usually 15ish. hard load at the top, more of a hitter than swinger, smooth tempo with a miss being a block.

i was looking at the epic tour, tour concept grafalloy mid and low launch shafts, as well as the protoPYPE. looking at something between 70 and 80 grams. i hate to put this limitation on it, but i'm trying to stay under 200 bones if at all possible.

if anyone has any experience with these shafts i'd really appreciate their input.

Well if you want to reduce LA then you MUST change heads! There is not a shaft out there that will make that much of a difference for you in terms of LA and spin. I have a Whiteboard 73x in my 8.5 FT5 and my numbers are pretty good now. I used to hit 9.5's but that 1 degree a difference took 1 degree off my LA and about 650rpm of my spin...its the head not the shaft dude.

thanks for the reply. my numbers seem to indicate that i'm a low launch, high spin player. joe k said i'd be a good fit for the lcg heads, i just don't have the money to drop for that club right now. i'm not so concerned with reducing the launch angle, maybe that could be a degree or 2 lower, but i am interested in finding a shaft to flatten out the downrange flight. thats how i came up with the (short) list of shafts i posted.

 

any thoughts or ideas?

have a look at the bi matrixs, it will make u launch a little higher but it will cut ur spin rate down loads cause the tip is steel and therefore soo stiff.
