MP 60 Fli Hi Shaft Options

In adding a graphite shaft to an MP60 Fli Hi 2iron, should I use a regular graphite shaft or a "hybrid" shaft?

 

I am a 12 hcp playing MP60 irons, stiff steel, +1/2", 3 degrees upright. I'm adding the Fli Hi as a safe off the tee club, but not sure if I should go steel, graphite, or hybrid graphite shaft, since its more of an iron than hybrid club.

I like the MP FliHi 3 and 4 with the same shafts I have in my iron set (TT DG S300). I have the same shaft in a MP FliHi 2 and cannot get it in the air. Clubhead speed with 6iron is 78-80 (82 if i am really warmed up and relaxed). I would love to have another shaft in the 2, either graphite shaft in stiff, but with a softer tip, or something like a TT Dynalite steel shaft. getting the same shaft in the FliHi 2 that I have in my irons was certainly a mistake for me.

If there is a lightweight steel shaft with a softer tip that you have tried in irons before and liked, try to get it. Mizuno offers the Dynalites and two different Nippon shafts as custom shafts for the MP FliHi. I think I would be a lot happier with one of those, at least in the 2 "iron".

you can go either way with them but look for a higher launching shaft as them heads dont launch all that high to begin with
