The new paintfill in the MX-23 looks great. May i ask you how did you do it?

testors model paint. tooth picks and goo be gone... use one color at a time though....

What is the goo b gone for?

Hobby stores and craft stores sell the paints, you can use goo b gone, acetone or paint thinner to remove the excess paint once the paint drys. I try to use only one color at a time.

Nice Fish!! Can you remind us again how you get that color paint fill in your 60s, looks like a different shade of blue than the std.

I got to the hobby or craft store and buy the "testors enamel" paint. the color is 1110 blue. and I apply it to the parts I want to look blue then I wait for it to dry then take of the excess with goo be gone or the Mr Clean stain eraser.

Fish! Great looking setup! How do you like those MP-60s? I was thinking about adding them to my bag as my 2-6 irons. Are they a little heavier than the MP-30? I have the 30's, but they feel hollow. Pretty fool-proof to hit with though.

When you sent the Phantom to the custom shop you had the Scotty Custom Shop stamp, your initials and a new grip...did they clean up any dings/knicks or anything? Your bag looks great! I love paintfilling my all my putters but I never touch my irons, but I also have boring stainless steel, not that gorgeous chrome.

I was very dissapointed with my putter when it came back from the custom shop... The putter looked as if a middle school shop class put the stampings on it and they were very narrow and not professional looking at all... When I spoke with them they said that there was not a good space to put the stamps on these putterrs and the did the best they could. That invovlement and lack of customer service has turned me away from buying anything cameron. Thanks for the positive compliments I really appreciate it. I am planning on having the project x 5.0 shafts installed in my irons and maybe a set of chikara or scratch wedges for next spring... I am also considering the TEE cb2 fairway woods...

I totally agree on the stamping...I have my own set of stamps, and believe me, I can do a WAY better job. I am buying a putter just like it but it has a few knicks and dings in it...I've read somewhere on this website that Scotty won't refurbish the Phantoms, so I didn't know if you had any repair type work done, or they went ahead and fixed anything. When the black anodized aluminum face gets a ding it's bright silver and very distracting, so I want to repair it.

Still waiting for the x forges to arrive... I have been hitting a 6.0 project x demo clube and I am not having the best of luck with it at this time. I will definately post pics once the xforges arrive... I don't know if they will become my gamers though...

I wasn't able to hadle the 6.0 shafts in the x forged so I gave them to a family member for xmas... Man was he suprised!!!!!

 

I did get a new bag scratch wedge and a new putter though....

I think I am gonna upgrade to the new TE XCG or XLD Driver and the new fairway woods. I will retire the current ones to a back up back with a set of MP-32's that I want to put in the "rotation"!!! I LOVE THE WAY the scratch wedge feels!!!!!! It kinda feels like you hit the ball with a "dead blow" hammer. I WILL be contacting Ari soon to get a set of custom Scratch wedges!!!!! Top notch products!!!!!

thank you ivan... With my xmas money I purchased two chikara wedges, man I cannot wait until they arrive!!!! Will definitely post pics when they get here... I hope EVERYONE here on the boards has a safe and happy new year!!!!!!!!

Fish, great looking bag! i like the updates. Those Chikara wedges will be sweet, let me know how the play when you get them. How do you like the Mizzy tour carry bag? I don't carry much anymore, but I use a speed cart and would like to find a stand bag that will double as a cart bag. My Titleist X77 is ok, but has some draw backs. Let me know about the bag.

I love the way the new mizuno tour bag looks but the kabuki top is the smaller version 6way top. I find that not as good as the 7 way top that was on my previous gto stand bag. I will have to post the pictures of the chikara's over the weekend, the just arrived monday night.
