V-steel 4 wood

Just arrived as I was eating lunch, talk about a suprise. It's grip is slightly worn, but everything else is in working order, the paint is great, some swirl marks, but nothing bad. I got it on GolfClubExchange.com, which is now working conjunction with Golf Galaxy.

I have the V Steel 4 wood, it has replaced my 3 wood and is definitely more reliable for my game. Yeah, I am giving up some yardage but straight and consistent works instead of longer and who knows where the ball is going to finish.

Tell me how it is!!

I'm looking to grab a V-Steel 13* or 15* 3 wood later on this summer so any feedback you have would be great!

I've got a 13* V-Steel, and it's a gem. I love the feel, and the sound is great. Good distance, too. On the occasions where my driver goes a little squirrelly, it's a fantastic replacement. I'm thinking about reshafting it, though; I'm not a huge fan of the stock TM shaft.

Some people are at work where digital cameras aren't permitted. Picture this, now close your eyes, picture a 16.5* 4 wood V-Steel with a crappy stock shaft that's black and a slightly worn grip, on the bottom it has some swirl marks, but has kept it's value, no skymarks visible. Thanks for playing.

I have hit the 13, 15, and 18 degree in the golf simulators and they all seems pretty straight and forgiving for me (a very, very high handicapped beginner). I wound up getting the 15 and the 18 degree but as I said in another thread I kind of wish I had just snagged the 16.5 degree 4-wood, as I am really not consistent enough to see that much of a difference between the two (I have yet to actually play the 5-wood though).

As far as fairway woods go it is hard to beat these, especially for beginners where the shaft is not so much of an issue. $100 for a steel shafter fairway wood that also happens to be the most popular wood on tour in '05 is quite a deal. For the price of a good Nike I wound up getting 2 clubs.

Maybe, just maybe I will get the 13 degree come summer, assuming I am still struggling with a driver.
