Flex for Tour Concepts

I currently play DGS300's but I am looking at the Tour Concepts. Should I go with the S3 or X1. My driver SS is around 105-110 and according to Shaftfit I would use a X100 based on my online fitting. Any Thoughts?

Personally, I'd suggest going with the S3's. The Tour Concepts will feel a little softer, but they are still plenty precise, and will develop a nice kick. I've played my current irons in both DG R300's and Tour Concept R3's, and I see no particular reason to go stiffer just because they feel silkier than the DG's. You'd be giving up part of what makes them so great; nice feel and kick while maintaining tight control.

X1 isn't all that stiff, even my old bones can swing it....same swingspeed as you. All depends on how you hard you make your transition and release. If you have a quicker tempo/shorter/harder kind of swing, the X1 will be not a problem at all. If you are smooth and silky (like Beruo), S3 will be good. You can soft step off the X1 if you need a tweener flex. Just my findings and how I fit it.
