Ping AWT shafts

I just got a mixed set of g10 and i10 irons with S flex AWT shafts and have been watching well struck shots balloon on me and fall 10-20 yds. short over the course of 4 rounds. I thought it might be just me but when I used my I5s today all my distances were back to normal. I've noticed the flight being considerably higher than the CS Lite stiff shafts in my i5s as well. Is the AWT shaft that much different than the CS Lite. I've been thinking about an expensive shaft upgrade to project x's. Has anyone else experienced this super high flight with the AWTs? My Normal driver speed is 108-110 with average 270 yds carry+roll and I get 150 from my 8 iron. The i10 8 iron gets 135-140. and I get 160 with my old 8 iron with dgs300. (but it's a much less forgiving blade) I'm guessing shafts are the issue, but am unsure what to do. I can't just exchange them because they were custom ordered as a mixed set, and not to keen on spending 40-50$ per club to reshaft unless I'm positive it's the right decision. Help...

Wondering if you had any success with the i10's. I have them as well in the AWT Stiff, and am having the same loss of distance problems. I hit my clubs similar distances as yours and not happy with the results.

sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I just got i10s with AWTs, and after 9 holes I'm reshafting - too high!
