Anyone w/ info on Dr. NakaMats Putter? *strange*

Dr. NakaMats putter

Does anyone have any info or knowledge of a putter designed by Dr. NakaMats?

My grandfather actually found this putter in a dumster! He knows I'm a putter nut (mostly PING) so he gave it to me.

It is really strange looking. It's center shafted, with a black head and at first glance it looks like a SeeMore putter. BUT it has a floating face that is not attached at the toe. It's shaped almost like a tuning fork. When you hit a ball it rings like a bell. It's weird, and I love it.

I Googled Dr. NakaMats and found out that he is a world famous inventor who owns over 3000 patents, but I couldn't find much info on the putter, other than he has designed one or two putters over the years.

On the top it says "DrNakaMats" "Patent USGA". On the sole it says "GRAND PRIX" "New York USA"

Any info regarding rarity, value, age, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I just bought one on eBay, noticing the op came on here only to ask about it, I paid 61$ for it and will give a review once it gets tested on the greens.

Yep yep, saw the documentary a few days ago and Bam it popped up on ebay.

Short review on this because the grip is cracked and feels weird. For anyone dont know, the guy that designed it is a odd inventor that was in a documentary with his name.

The putter is just an odd bird with a ping type of sound slot. It has some odd screw that I dont even know how it was installed or if it can be adjusted. So take a look at the pictures for your self. I will update this once I get a new grip on here.

Update: The screw was placed in there by someone to mute the sound. With the screw removed, this thing Pings harder than anything I've ever used for golf. And it's missing the original grip which is apparently what Dr Nakamts invented in 1980. I attached all the docs I could find on this if anyone looks for info regarding this putter/tuning fork in the future.
