G10 PL Red VS Pershing 75 need some input

looking for some help/insight on a setup

Hi all, looking for a bit of insight on a G10 shaft "issue", I've got a 7.5 deg one with the factory installed Pl Red S in it, have been giving it some head to head against the 07 Buner Tp I have ( has the TP Fuji Romax 75-X from the newer Burners in it.. um "X-Flex" my foot..) anyway.. the G10 has been abotu equal to the Burner in terms of distance, on occasion a yard or two longer, sometimes as much as 10 yards shorter... Dispersion with the PL Red has been a bit wider than I expected, having used it before in a Cobra Speed Pro D and not had many issues with loosing it right and left.. I have a Pershing 75-S sitting in my shaft bin, was wondering how that might perform relative to the PL red in this head, all else being as "equal" as one can figure....

Any thoughts? my first best guess was that the Pershing 75 would launch just a tad higher, maybe less dispersion, but what about spin rates between these two??

I very very much appreciate any insights that can be offered...

The Graphite Design Pershing 75 S is a Mid kick point shaft. However it is heavier than the Prolaunch Red so I would imagine the launch for both to be relatively similar. You should also gain some consistency just based on that it is a heavier shaft.

 

I would give the Pershing a shot if you are having problems with consistency; if there are changes in the trajectory, it shouldn't be very much.
