Great looking bag, thanks for sharing... I have been thinking about getting a TM putter (gaming a cameron these days), any thought on the new Kia Ma line?

I haven't used one.. I think they look great.. I like the anser style putters alot with the plumbers necks. To be honest though, I'm extremely pro SeeMore at the moment. The putter is just insanely well balanced and gives me such a pure stroke. I never liked the mallet type of putters after using putters like my Odyssey White Hot #1, SC Design #1, TM Rossa Sebring...

But this putter gets gamed. It feels great, looks great.. I won't use ANYTHING at the moment..

whatsamatter,

As goofy as it sounds.. I use headcovers on my irons. For two reasons really.... I have the 2005 Forged RAC TP's.. They have a decent amount of bag chatter on them, and have normal use on them and still look great. However, I usually ride, and the guy I play with, we usually have a good time time on the course, and drive a little wild sometimes, and over hills and bumps and such. I can't STAND to hear clubs rattle and bang into each other while I drive. It drives me insane, as well as the fact my irons are all forged it leaves them looking like crap.

The iron covers stop the rattle, leaves my bag silent when I ride, or walk, and keeps them looking nice and new.. As beautiful as they might be, I keep them covered unless I'm at the range and just swinging around.

Great bag. How do you like the Burner hybrid? Have you had the chance to compare with the Tour Burner or Tour Burner TP hybrid?

i just traded in my tour burner hybrid. it has an unfortunate tendency to hook. it is weighted so much for a draw bias any shot will turn into a hook. there is another thread about his though. many agree with me. sorry for the bad news, i really like the look and set up of the club but it jsut hooks too much

UPDATE:

The SeeMore hasn't been cutting it for me lately, and the White Hot #1 has been bagged and looks like it'll get the nod for the '09 season start.

The TBTP has been taking out of the rotation for a few rounds and replaced with a FTi Tour LCG 8.5 with a Matrix Ozik XCon, which has been a BOMB for me.

The Smoke MB's are getting the new White/Black MCC's next week, and PX 5.5 shafts.

Oh, and I've got a Cobra 3-wood with a Proto By You shaft in the mix too. Hits higher than my TB T3wood, but love the obnoxiously loud ping from it.

The cold and the wind, as well as the sloppy course conditions in the winter have forced me to use the CB's, the Callaway driver and the Cobra 3 wood more.

The Z wedges are still the money- looking for a 60*

Yeah, there aren't too many out there that are the tour prototype.. I like the lack of sight lines on the putter, because at address, it's all business, without any frills and colors. Lock in the RST, and go.

I'm wanting to get the blade anser style.. Looking to probably sell or trade the Seemore if it doesn't start getting hot for me again.

That, or get me a custom build from Seemore or Sunset Beach soon.

Thanks for the replies fellas.

The SeeMore M5 is out of the bag(and forsale here!!!).

I added a SeeMore tour issued m1 milled with a white iomic grip. Great, great putter for me, and much better for my natural stroke.

Test drivinga 60* Scratch wedge for the time being and gonna see if it'll make it out for the spring rounds. :)

I got the headcovers at PGA superstore. Haven't seen them anywhere else as far as I know, but I haven't been looking.

The bag is pretty solid IMO.

I'll switch out the irons sometimes and put in my 2005 RAC TP CB's w/ S300's. They are like butter and keep me confident when the smokes punish me.

Thanks for the comments guys.. Only thing I think I might need is another bag. While I love the staff bag, I'm gonna be carrying more in the summer, and my mizuno aerolight isnt what I really want in a good stand bag.

Thanks guys... Playing them this season has greatly improved my scores AND my ball striking. Ironic that a blade would do that, but you really seem to focus when you know it's going no-where with a mis-hit.

The 17* hybrid is fantastic. Set it to the TP setting, slightly open, and I can go after it and work it pretty well. A little hard to get a draw on it for me, but I use it in the rough, and when I'm going to try and snatch a green on a par 5 that's reachable. Pretty solid feeling, the shaft has a nice medium/high flight to it.. Not low spin, but it's not high up there. Doesn't feel as forgiving as the Burner rescues, but when you nut one, it's SOLID!

The Driver is the cats a**, only thing I hate is the loss of distance, when I miss towards the heel. Toe misses aren't bad, but I tend to push those even more than normal. The shaft really fits the bill, and I love the customization I have to tweak the driver and 3-wood.

Got a R9 460 TP HD6 coming this week. Going to see how it works out, see if it atleast FEELS more forgiving and if I gain anything from it, if not.. Off it goes!

The Scratch irons are gorgeous, but you know what? First of all, I'm somewhat surprised at how close the two look at address... I just assumed that the Scratch would have a thinner topline. Very impressed.

Finally.... I personally think, IMO, that the TP MB Smokes are by far the sexiest, sweetest looking clubs on this earth. Probably just me, but I continually come back and look at those babies.

Sweet bag. Totally jealous.

Your right.. When I placed them side by side, the size of them as really close.. Topline wise, they are almost identical. The Scratches look a little boxier on the bottom, but thats the grind on them, and the leading edge being straighter, rather than curved on the MB Smokes.

I like both, and like I did last season with my other set, I'll probably swap out the Scratch and the Smokes from time to time and mix it up.

The SB-1's just have a timeless look to me about them. So clean and simple.
