I just put a Harmon Tour Design CB95 in my Taylormade RAC tp 60* wedge. First off I'm real happy with the way it turned out looks wise. I took it to the practice green. The feel is amazing the control is great.
I actually had better distance control and was knocking them closer to the pin. I got it in regular flex because I wanted a softer feel and I got it a half inch longer. Don't let anyone who does not have graphite in their wedge tell you that you don't want to do it. They will tell you that you will lose feel, control, and consistency absolutely not true. I wasn't sure because all the negatives people were saying without knowing so I decided to try I could always go back. I'm in wedge heaven. I will keep you all updated how it does after the honeymoon stage.

Looks nice. Yonex has a wedge with a graphite shaft that I have heard good things about. Good luck.

Hey man the wedge looks great! I would like to try the same thing; did you bore out the hosel to .370" or is the shaft a .355" taper?

 

JD plays graphite in his wedges and his short game is pretty darn good. Do what ever works for you.

The shaft is .355 taper so if you get the HTD iron shaft the .355 shafts are all taper even though it's not noted on Golfsmith or Golfworks.

There are a couple of good options MCC, Mercury, aldilla and some of the other UST shafts come in 355 taper tip and are fairly heavy.

What was the swingweight before you installed the graphite shafts and what was it after you installed graphite? Final length of wedge?

One of the sets of clubs I have is 1/2 inch over (PW is 36 inches).

I am thinking about taking the GAP, 56 and 60 degree wedges to 36 inches as well.

Shafts I am considering are graphite and TX 90 Tour in steel.

I like the grip alot. But beware Royal Grip just got bought by Lamkin and these will not be made any more. So don't fall in love with something you won't be able to replace in the future. I picked it because of the color match to the shaft.

It only cost me $55 total shaft+install+grip.

 

I'm gonna get my sand wedge done too.
