Ping Customer Service !!!!

Sent my Ping Doc17 ( I know I know, dinner plate, potato masher...) back to Ping that I've been playing with for about a year to see if it could be refinished. The putter had some marks on the face from normal use and a nick on the top from getting knocked around when I left the cover off it.

Let me also tell you if you order one of these Doc monsters or the new SRT tri-ball save the box! It took a sh_t load of tape and custom home made box to fit that monster in. It probably took the guys at Ping two days just to get that baby out!

Even though I've had the putter for about a year & some of the damage had nothing to do with putting. Ping is sending me a replacement free of charge! Outstanding customer service !!!! :cheesy:

Holy cow, that's great! Thanks for sharing. We're all so inclined to complain when we get bad service, it's nice when someone shares a good experience. I'll keep this in mind when I'm looking to replace my irons or driver.

Just had an experience like that with Callaway. Had work done on a FT-3 Draw version done by a well known clubmaker in Ft Worth. Had a pink NV installed and recently a rattle developed inside the club. Well I joked to my friend at the store and said "see if they will do anything with it and heck while your at it get me a neutrally weighted head so I can stop this hook cause other than that this it is an awesome club". Well, we didnt think Callaway would deal with this issue since they didnt do the work. Ok, my friend called yesterday and not only is Callaway dealing with it they are sending me a brand new FT-3 Fusion with the pink NV-65 and along with that to top it off; its a neutrally weighted head!!! Wow is all I can say!

When I was shopping for new irons over the summer, I considered many game-improvement brands. I ultimately decided on a company most of you have probably never heard of, Thomas Golf. They're pretty much an internet-only company, but their irons were well-reviewed and much less expensive than the comparable Callaway's I priced.

 

Well, long story short, I love the irons, they've really really improved my game. I sent an email to the company expressing my appreciation for their product, and lo and behold the very next morning I got an email from one of the designers thanking me for my kind words...and, oh, by the way, would I like to demo a hybrid club and give them feedback, and keep the club when I'm done? Wow.

 

I like companies that just "get it". I'll be loyal to these guys until I stop playing golf, which will be when they cart me off to the fairway in the sky. I keep asking if they have hats available so I can advertise the product, but no such luck yet.

 

It seems golf club manufacturers are among the best in customer service, and that's nice to hear!

funny, i had one and marks came on the face aswell and ping gave me a new one :)

PING has excellent customer service. The main ball pocket zipper on my stand bag broke, I called, I mailed it in and it was back AS GOOD AS NEW inside of 10 days! All at no charge!
