In Florida when i was alot younger, i was playing golf around Tampa and we go to this hole and i was sitting in front of the green in one and looking ot chip it close and get a birdie and i was playing pretty good. I proceded to duff three chips in a row, i was so mad i did a whirly bird and throw my club thinking i would throw it at the cart. Well it elevated to high and went over my cart and into a small swampy area. I was to short to go in i would have drowned. So i tall freind of mine went in to get it, he never let me live it down and i never did anything like that since.

I was playing a new course in Elbridge,NY last year and the first hole plays parallel to a fairly busy road with probably only about 20yds seperating the two. If that doesn't foreshadow what happened then let me put things this way.... Tm 580xd+power fade = BMW 745 in a ditch trying to avoid a Pro V1, needless to say I played through to the back nine right away which is behind a hill in the woods where nobody will see you

Near death experience! :yahoo:

A couple of years ago I traveled to play a couple rounds with my brother at Sentry World in WI. We were playing 36 a day for a couple of days. Now every time we play I press and end up playing like cr@p and the first three rounds there were no exception.

We started the last round and I'm hanging with him until the middle of the back nine. I'm down 1 with 5 to play when we get to a 500 yard par 5. There's water to the right, but the fairway is huge and there's no reason to even come close to it. My brother pipes one down the middle, I get up and, of course knock one right in the middle of the water. The kicker is I start the ball right so it enters the hazard at the worst possible spot, meaning I have to drop the ball 75-100 yards from where it landed in the drink.

All I had on my mind was killing a 3-wood to get near the green so I have a reasonable shot to save my par. That great swing thought :bad: was followed by the top of all tops which ends up right back in the water. I knew I'd just blown any chance I'd had and just saw red.

I grabbed my TM 3W, calmly walked over to my SpeedCart, pulled the club back like I'm about to split a log and hammer it against the leg of the cart. BAM! Solid contact, shaft against the leg. I'm left holding the shaft in my hands, but the head isn't on the club anymore, so I take a quick glance by the cart to where I thought the head would be. It wasn't there so I looked around and all of a sudden hear a thump behind me. The head of the 3 wood had somehow either bounced off the ground or flew off the shaft after hitting the leg of the cart, and flew about 20 yards straight behind me. :yahoo: It had some serious hang time.

From where the head landed, that thing couldn't have missed my head by much.

Needless to say, I take it a little easier on my clubs now.

At my course the Marshal decided to follow me around just for fun. I was playing with 2 other guys and we're pretty decent. Fairways and greens, no problems. But for some reason he would get on the phone when I would get up to the teebox. He would talk, and talk and talk. I would sit there and STARE at him waiting for him to stop. Completely threw off my driver that day. Normally it wouldn't bother me but he was just being a *****.

I had had enough. Hole 13 comes up, he's facing me in his cart watching me tee off. I rip a drive and let the club fly right at him. "OOPS".....

Right through his cart, shaft hit his phone and hopefully broke it. I was pissed by that point. He gave me s***, I didn't say a word. I walked over, grabbed my club and sayd "g'bye marshall". He tipped his cap and was never seen again.

In my High School days I was a hot head. I thought I was Tiger Woods because I used to compete against him in High School. You know, cocky bastxxx who thinks he can do what he wants. I was shooting scratch in HS.

One round we were playing Western HS and I had a VERY bad round. I was shooting 45 on the front 9 coming up to 9. I decided that I wanted to hit 9 balls into MY high school across the street. They caught me on Camera and made me pay for every window. Tiger looked at me and just laughed, "Rough day?" he remarked. I just smirked and finished my day. +29 or something on the front 9. We lost.
