Twilight time question

I am vacationing during the first week of December of this year. I am hoping to play Kapalua (Plantation) and one or two others. The twilight rates look much more affordable ($155) compared to the regular rates ($295).

 

What time does it get dark at that time of the year? Can you get in a round if your tee time is at 2pm or later? Is there any difference in terms of sunset from Maui to Kauai? I will be in Kauai and hope to play a round there as well.

It's usually dark by 6:30 that time of the year, so a round at Kapalua at 2 would be cutting it very close.

 

As for sunsets, I think they're the same on Kauai or Maui, though it depends where you are at on each island. Sunsets at Kapalua are really nice. If you are going to be at Poipu or that part of Kauai then the sunsets will be very nice as well. If you're more in Lihue or near Kauai Lagoons you won't get as nice a sunset since it faces east.

Just set up a round at the Prince Course the following week for part 2 of the trip.

I would tee off no later than 1 or 1:15, as the sun has been setting a little after 6 here lately. It's pitch black dark by 6:20 now.
