Difference between 690cb and 695cb?

Just want to know what is the difference between the 690cb and the 695cb? It seems to me that the looks is almost the same. How about comparing the feel and such? Also is the 660 the same as 670? Thanks a lot in advance!!!!

I'd like to see something too. I have been eyeing the 690 series for about a week now and noticed the current 690 series is coming down in price. Looking at the 690.cb's or 690.mb's.

 

People suggest I wait until the 695's come out and take advantage of the technology. How much technology can there be in a forged club?

Speaking as one of the many guys who have not yet tried the 695's, I can honestly say I don't know. What I can tell you though is that I have utilized the search feature and was able to come up with some answers on my own. Here is the Titleist FAQ thread that Gxgolfer put together that should have information about darned near every upcoming Titlist release (including a tentative release schedule). And here is a great thread that Joe K started where he answers your very question. To further save you time here's the cut and paste of that:

 

If you look at the sole shape of your 690.CB, you should see that the 695 has no more leading edge double cut anymore. That alone will make the play different IMO.

 

690 will not feeling as sharp and this will effect on your ball flight and distance control on a certain type of soil condition IMO.

Now, if you were actually anxiously awaiting a chance to hit the 695cb's, you would already know that stuff and would be able to fill me in. :D If cost is an issue, I'm sure the 690's would be just fine, but if you're anything like many of the guys on the board, you'll end up wanting the 695's soon enough so you'd actually end up SAVING money by buying the 695's this year. At least that's what I plan on telling the wife. :)

having personally tried the 695CB and owning the 690.cb, I can tell you that there are diffrerences. For one, the 695 have the new Z-Cavity technology which is supposed to remove weight from the heel and put it more towards the face center. Basically It's a lot more forgiving than the 690's. Also Titleist is reporting that the 695 has 2 hosel lengths shorter in the 2-7 and longer for the 8-P for better weight distribution. The biggest difference I see is the lower trajectory. the 695 have a very low trajectory for the quicker paced player while the 690 have a mid-high ball flight. I personally am gonna stick with my 690 just because I don't wanna pay the money when I'm playing well with my 690, but when the price does go down, the 695 will be my next buy. And as for the 670 and 680, they are diff as well. The 670 has a much wider sole and deeper heel than the 680 and is prefered among players with steeper swings while the 680 is for those who pick the ball off the turf. Hope this helps.
