skins and a few side bets I have been involved in some games for thousands when I was young but I always had a backer. My cut was once worth $3500 for the weekend

i play like absolute garbage when i bet. i won about a total of 8 bucks and losses are into the 100 mark at least. i seem to get suckered into these bets with the same group every time and once i know MY money is on the line i play like a 20 hcp... sucks.... lol

I only gamble on golf, poker, and whether or not my wife is going to give it up after I have played 36 holes LMAO...

Dont need to bet. Hitting a pure golf shot is enough of a high.

I usually play $1 Junk plus $5 a side when I play for money..

-Sandies..

-Birdies..

-Chip ins..

-Polies.. Putt made from outside the length of the pin

-Sticky.. Approach shot in reg inside the length of the pin

-Greenies on par 3s and an extra $10 for a "grand slam" which is the greenie on all four par 3s

-Occasionaly the 'barky' which is if you hit a tree and make par or better

-..and very rarely the 'cart pathy' if you hit the cart path and make par or better

In our four ball matches it is match play with strokes given off of the lowest player's handicap. We generally figure off of 80% handicap.
