New ball suggestion

need some help

Right now I play a pro v1x and I like it a lot just am sick of not getting the spin I need around the greens, I like the pro v1 around the greens but hate it off everything else, What are some balls that have good driver distance, good feel, durable, and plenty of spin? Thanks guys

have you tried the taylor made tp red? To me, it is a little shorter than the X(5 yds off the tee, fairly negligible with irons), but a little softer around the green. Love that ball.

i have tried the tp red when it first came out, didnt mind it but wouldnt use it as my primary ball... are the new ones improved?

Try the Taylor made Black.... it spins great and goes far....

Bridgestone 330 series i really like, your swing speed depends on which one you should play also Z-star is a very good and under rated ball IMO plus is about 5 bucks cheaper than V1s and the 330. All good balls i think

The new Srixon Z-Star X are really great balls. Compared to the Pro V1x it's a tad longer (negligible), quite a bit softer, higher spinning, and a hell of a lot more durable.

Callaway's been making some good balls lately. I really like the new tours (i and ix are both great). If you're looking for a replacement for the V1x, definitely try out the ix.

I'm partial to the Nike One Tour as it is everything that I have been searching for in a ball. Don't care about distance in a golf ball at al but this one is a rocket. Spin and feel is much more important to me and I can spin it a ton when I want and take some off when I don't want it. If your looking for one of the softest balls go with the Srixon Z-Star. Does not spin as much as the Nike One Tour but it will last longer. I played 27 holes today with one (Nike One Tour) and demolished it. It would still go more but I like to keep them pretty on a new day. So I would suggest the Nike One Tour as the best all around and if your looking for the softest try the Z Star from Srixon. Whatever ball you choose please come back and post with what you choose so we can see how the recommendations pan out.
