I play or practice ever day weather permitting in the summer.
I went back to the DCI 990 irons, because I was getting sloppy with the 695's (too forgiving).

Gamer Bag

The black Titleist Stand Bag

Driver - 9.5 ft9 tour imix with fubuki tour 63 or aldila proto by you, the fubuki is straighter and the aldila is longer.

Fairway - Adams 9032ti - Aldila voodoo 7 stiff - This think is a monster

Recue club - 22 degrees with a 83 gram stiff irod shaft.

Irons - Titleist DCI 990 with Rifle 6.4 in the 1-7 iron @ D2.0 swingweight, and 6.5 in the 8-pw irons @ D2.0 swingweight

Wedges - mizuno MPR 52-07 and 58-10 I bend them to different lofts, so I put the green paint on them and would write the loft and bounce on that green paint. The 52 is a 53, and the 58 is a 57

Lob wedge - 09 vokey spin milled- it's ok, not the best

Putter. cleveland classic 2. I benched my camerons, because i score better with this

Ball - I am using the pro V1x - Best ball for me, I got fitted.






Back-up Bag


Driver - Callaway FTI Tour neutral with a aldila proto 60-s shaft. Super Hook Machine

Fairway wood - Exotics xcg-v fairway wood. 16.5 with the stock GD Tour AD stiff. This club had too much red on it, so I stripped the red of the bottom. It used to drive me nuts to see so much red on one club, so I had to strip it all off.

Other fairways - A couple of titleists with NV 75-s shafts

Irons - titleist 695 cb - Black Gold s-flex

Lob wedge - Cleveland 588 60 degree. I have tried the rest, and I am still with the best. I have tried spin milleds, mac daddy, and nothing is as good for me as my old 588.

Putter - Scotty Cameron studio no. 5

I've got that Taylormade Rescue Dual too and is exactly the same loft as your's. I've had it for a good three years now and it's a very reliable club to have in the bag.

 

Also, those 695's irons make me drool....

very nice setup. that's an interesting thing to do for your wedges, but, if you have bad vision, i wouldn't blame you.

how do you like the hibore xl? I've been looking into possibly buying one.

Taboo, I freakin love the hibore xl tour because the face is 3 degrees open. When I swing too hard I can still hit a hook with it, but most shots are just a nice long draw. I have the red shaft in mine, and for a stock shaft I can't believe how nice it is (better than some aftermarket). It is the first stock shaft I have played in a driver for years.

What did you do to that studio design 5?

Hi Jarederco, I cut the studio down to a 33 inch and I had to add a little weight with lead tape to get the swingweight back.

nice bag. How do you like that adams 3 wood, I love the hybrids but i havent hit there woods?

I didn't think I would at first, because I am only 5'7" and the club is 43.5 inches long, but it is the best 3 wood I have ever hit. for me I hit my driver about 270 and this 3 wood goes about 240, so for me this is huge, and it is really easy to hit. The voodoo shaft is the best in a fairway, just perfect. It might be ok in a driver, but this shaft really shines in the fairway woods. As you can see, I tossed the crappy exotics xcg-v out. this adams is one of the few fairways that are really worth 330 bucks. if you liked the old tight lies you will love this, it looks to me to be a tricked up tight lies.
