I'm further north than that - in Canada. We played today

at www.bushwoodgolf.com but probably due to some bad

weather coming in tomorrow, the winds were clipping 40

mph with gusts even stronger. I played with two younger

guts who were long hitters, but the wind played havoc

with their shots (as it did with mine to some extent) so

it evened out our capabilities somewhat. It was also very

cold at about 12C, warming slightly on the back 9. We've

had a lot of wind and cool weather this year which is very

strange with June only days away. I wanted to play this

course again since it is where I had my first hole-in-one -

but not a chance today :-)

As for the Northwest I guess Salt Lake City is considered NW. Anyway that town has to be the best kept golf secrets around. Great courses, a super area golf association, and super prices!

 

I also played in the Seattle area, also very good, but it was very wet.

We are very forgiving to those who are without knowledge of the western part of the states,so we will adopt you into our fold as a member of the pacific nw.Yes,Salt Lake City is a good area for golf.I`ve been to the southern part of Florida only.Thought once of moving to St. Peterburg,but dropped the idea.
