My review of the Garmin G5

Finally got to use it today!

Well after a few more weeks of waiting, I finally got to use my G5. I was blown away to say the least. Distances are pretty accurate. The screen is easy to see in direct sunlight. It's extremely rugged(I dropped it twice on concrete with no problems). Being able to touch where you want a measurement to is great. I used that quite alot for hazards and stuff. Super easy to use. It is pretty fast also. There is no delay in the GPS when you move. It automatically moves you to the next hole, but if you forget to enter your score, it goes to the past hole so you plug your score in. Just a great unit IMO.
Now of course I haven't used another GPS, so I have no real comparison. But for me, this GPS will work great and with the durability and reliability of a Garmin, you can't go wrong. I know the Upro is a great unit as well as I almost got one. But it was hard enough to pick one without trying them both!
So if your going to get one, it's A+ in my book. Your getting one of the best GPS units. Hope this helps anyone who is looking at the G5
