How do you attch your Rangefinder to your bag?

Hey Guys,

Just wondering how everyone attaches their rangefinder to their bag. I have the Bushnell 1500 pinseeker but the case and strap that comes with the rangefinder doesn't fit my bag correctly. Idealy, I'd like to easily attach the rangediner to my clicgear pull cart.

 

How are you guys attaching the rangefinder to your bag?

I use the compartment on my clic gear cart. Otherwise, my Leupold GX2 has a pouch that I can put it in which has a hook to hang it anywhere on the bag or the cart.

This may not be that helpful, but I bought a Nikon 500G specifically because it is small enough to fit in my front pocket. It is always with me on the course no matter where I am, my cart is, etc.

I just hook it through some clubs and it hangs from there. Never had an issue of it falling off until you pull the final club its hooked to. then just put it back on. Pretty simple and very convenient.

What kind of bag do you have? I have the 1500 with the smaller magnetic pouch and it fits perfectly around the top of my bag. Also have a friend who has a tour bag and it also fits perfectly.

I have a callaway carry bad with legs and the pouch that comes with the rangefinder won't stay up on the bag. On a site note, has anyone made a mesh bag that attaches to the clicgear cart? I thinking about making a mesh bag that I can attach to the clips under the handle.

I have an Ogio carry bag and the case/pouch (in the link above) fits perfectly around it. Not sure why yours won't tighten up...most of my buddies that have it also have it strapped to the top of the bag right above the strap O ring.

When I'm walking, I just carry my Bushnell in the valuables pouch of my Ogio for easy access. When I'm riding, I use the magnetic pouch wrapped around the top of my bag or hung from the front bar of the cart.

 

Another option that might work is a Walmart fanny pack bag. You could probably loop this around the legs of a carry bag in a way to hold it up.
