I need help badly choosing my irons...

K, I can get any of these irons through my work and price isn't an issue.

 

I hit Rac MB's for the past year and hit the ball a bit too high with them but i am going to go to DG's after having Flighted Rifles in the racs, so that should bring it down. I'd like a players club but with a TAD bit more forgiveness but not too much, and if I can I'd like to stick with Taylor Made but if i cant no biggie.

 

Here are my choices:

 

Ping S59 Tour

Callaway X Tour

Taylor Made TP Forged

Mizuno MP60

Mizuno MP32

Cleveland CG1(Chrome or BP)

 

If you have any advice please give it, and any other suggested sets would be welcome.

i have the tp forged and love them, also have the rac lt and they are a little easeier to hit but play just like the forged. I think the LT's are the best of both worlds.

Another vote for the rac lt. I play the 2005 model and they are everything that i could ask for.

MP 60's

 

Look of a blade but forgivness of a cavity back. Plus you can't beat the feel of the grain flow forging of a Mizuno iron. The Select Iron they use in there forging is definatley the highest grade out there.

 

But bottom line get the one that looks best and feels best for you not what we think!!!

The LT's are a nice set of irons. Although, I like the Mizuno irons better (personal preference). Looks like you're a TM fan, so you'll definately want to try the LT's, but I suggest you also hit the MP-60's as well. Good Luck.

The TP forged CB's are really nice as well as the 2004 CB (satin). Or you could wait for the new TP blade, which is sweet.

Since you're a TM fan, I think TP Forged is just fantastic. Nicer looking/set up, and feel much softer than the LTs, IMO. Should also fit the bill with the amount of forgiveness you're looking for. I dont think you can go wrong with it.

 

The only thing is TP Forged does hit relatively high as well...higer than LTs in my experience (not too high for me but not sure if you'll like it). Try demo first if possible.

 

Someone mention 2004 CB Satin. Those are SWEET but far less forgiving than the TP Forged, IMO.
