Nike NDS vs Nike T60 fairway woods.....

differences?
Upon searching for a new 3W, I've read the many threads here and have a lot to choose from in my price range of $100 or less.

I've been looking at the Nike T60 line but have stumbled across a deal on the Nike NDS. Found them for $59.88. The only problem is that they are only available in regular flex and graphite. This one does have the Fuji shaft in it, but again it is a regular flex. TGW has them for this price.

Anyone play the NDS? If so, what are your thoughts?

I don't know much about the Nike line since I play PING everything.

What are the differences between the two? Is the NDS as solid as the T60? I've read a lot of positive posts on the T60.

'Preesh!

The NDS is quite a bit bigger head and does feel pretty good. I personally would not take for the T60 3 wood that I have and would pay the extra $30 or so to get the T60. It really just depends what you want. The NDS is probably a little more forgiving and more oversized. The T60 is more of a players club. Hope this helps.

Bless you my child, bless you. I pulled the trigger on this and bought one about two hours after I started this thread earlier today.

I wanted something with a bigger head, forgiving and oversized, and not so much a players club.

Hopefully the NDS will do the trick. Should be here by Wednesday. I'll post some comments after I hit it a few times.

Thanks Lefty!

I tried both. I like the T-60 better. The ball seemed to come off the face a little bit hotter. i also liked the set up look much better. I have PING everything except for Putter, and Driver. T-60 is a great 3 wood, very consistent stiff steel Nike shaft as well.

Got this in today! Love doing business with a golf company over the internet and finding that they are within my 1 day ship zone. Nothing like paying ground rates to have something delivered in two business days! Example: TGW is in Wichita, KS. I am in Fort Smith, Arkansas therefore I can get my stuff from them within two days of the order and still pay the UPS Ground rate. Something to look for if you do a lot of business with online merchants.

Anyway, the NDS does feel a little dead off of the face, but the ball still gets out there. Even on mis-hits.

I tried to jump on the first few balls I hit and caught them on the toe. Then I settled down, caught them square on the face and I got the ball flight I was looking for. A high draw.

It is also exceptional off of the tee from the long Par 3s or those short and tight Par 4s.

So far I am impressed with this $59 club. The regular flex fuji shaft makes me slow it down and swing easy like the shaft in my G2 driver. I also like how the face sets more square than my old Adams Tight Lies 3 wood.

Can't wait to get it out on the course this weekend to see what it can do out there.

Time now to update my signature and my WITBB pics.
