Fourteen JC707 Driver questions...please help!!

Hi everyone,

I am thinking of purchase a Fourteen JC707 driver...with rombax 7x07 S shaft...
Can anyone give me some idea about this driver or shaft?
I did my research but there's hardly any review on the web.
Can anyone please tell me more about is the driver? feel? distance? forgiveness? etc?
The deal I saw is about $300 USD brand new...good deal?
I am curretly gaming with sumo/YS 6+ S and 07 burner/platform 26.3 S
Driving around 260~270 yards.

IMO and others, the JC707 driver was not one of the better drivers available when released as new. Quite frankly it lacked all of the above . (feel, distance, forgiveness)

The JC808 and just released JC909 are huge improvements over the JC707. The Rombax 7x07 shaft is a good shaft if it fits your swing.

$300 for a new one is a fair price. Again, IMO you'd be better off with something different... a used JC808 in good shape would be a better perforning driver if you're set on a Fourteen.

FWIW, the Fourteen FW's, the 206 and 308 were and still are some of the best FW's out there.

what ever you do, make sure the head has been re-weighted as the JC707 head is very light, unless you are going to play the driver at 46.5 inches.
