Feedback Needed!

From the pics on the website, it looks like one of the shoulder straps sticks up all the time for easy grabbing of the bag....is there some sort of removable devise that causes the strap to stick up? Can you adjust the bag so the strap won't stick up all the time???

No at least i cant its sown into the middle of the bag

We use this bag for school and it is pretty nice. Not my favorite though. Of course mine is defective and has a messed up leg system :) . Anyway, the strap is very nice and it takes less to pick it up. The one sticks up, and cannot be changed. I like the stick-up strap. You pull up and the star pulls out of the bag. Part of the strap retracts from the bag. I wish the legs opened better and they had better pockets.

i just got one. i love it. the strap is really handy. it retracts when you set it down and i think its much more comfortable to carry while walking than any of the previous hoofers.

I also like the new strap, no bending down to grab it, I don't see any way you could adjust it so it does not stick up.

i had an early one and the legs sucked. they corrected that - the newer 2006 models with 4 way top has the old leg system and it works great. the strap up high is great too, no fishing for the strap. could be pings best bag after they fumbled a few on the last couple years.

Agreed, the legs on the '05 model have ZERO wind or uneven ground stability. The good thing is you don't have to reach for clubs, but I'd much rather do this than risk snapping the head off a graphite shaft.

 

I've lost track of the number of times my bag has fallen over at the range. On windy days now I just lay it down.

 

Also, the 8 way divider on the '05 model is a royal pain in the Word not allowed, clubs get stuck and tangled all the time. Again, another thing they corrected with the '06 model.

 

It's a great bag now, I just wished I'd waited a year! :)

 

Other than that a very comfortable bag, the stand up strap is very handy, you just have to use it to realize the benefits of it.
