Driver: Adams A4 9015D Prototype 9.5 Matrix Ozik 60-S. Been loving this driver for over a year now. The open face sets up great for me. Very,Very long and straight.

Putter: Byron Morgan 007 SS Black Gripmaster Stitchback. The best putter i have ever used. Great feel and control with this 350 gram putter. It is also my first custom putter and has alot of sentimental value. I may be adding a Lajosi soon with the arrival of our second child.

Are these the Prototype AR-1's?

Smokey was selling a set that had the "S" on the toe and not the center and they were the prototype set. I believe there were only a handfull of sets made and they had a thinner topline and less offset if I remember correctly.

I could be wrong, but thats what I remember reading about a set w/ the same toe "S" stamping.

I bought the heads from a guy on this forum. They are pre-owned. They appear to be polished chrome. The finish looks really nice. Dom I am not sure if they are TD or not. Seeing your AR-1s made me wanna buy this set. These are the first Scratch irons I have seen with this particular style numbers on the bottom. I'd be curios to see of they were TD. Maybe I will ask the guys from Scratch. Thanks for the comments guys.

Those look like my old set. They are 1 of 10 sets made and have a different stamping ,grind and a little less off set from what I was told. I was trying to game them but nothing fits my eye like my baby blades.

I have never seen chrome ARs before, but I have seen chrome/satin combo on a Scratch wedge. The chrome on that wedge was ridiculous!

After seeing yours, I'm thinking I might go with chrome instead of antique when I redo mine.

I've contacted the guys from Scratch. Hope to get some clarification about these irons. Will post any news i hear.

I sold them to Tsachafen a while back. They are 1 of 10 sets made I guess you could call them unique but I was told from the guys at Scratch that these just have the S stamp in a different location and a blunted leading edge grind slightly less off set but other than that same as the other ar1's. I couldnt give these away a while ago nice to see they are being appreciated.

Thanks alot. I don't know why, but i takes pics of all of my clubs out by that old stump. I like the way they look against the wood.

I'm waiting to head up to the oregon factory to get custom fitted, late this year. Planning a road trip from San Fran....head up to Tetherow for a couple of rounds, then over to Bandon Dunes, then stop by Scratch Golf. I will let them tell me which model fits me the best, and then custom as much as I can. Your pics sealed the deal for me. When the wife asks, "what these old things? 2nd hand and refinished..."

I wish i could go to either Oregon or Tennessee and check out their shop. Bandon Dunes would also be very nice. I told my wife these heads turned out to be rare. I described their rarity and she thinks they are pretty cool now. Generally she cares less about my equipment, but these seem to be the exception.

I'm glad you like your new set. I found these shortly after selling you the TEEs. I am gonna have the guys at Scratch install shafts and grips this week. Maybe will have them back in two weeks. Maybe the weather will warm up a little by then.
