Thanks for looking. Its winter time, and I found a use for the tv room beside putting on the floor.

Thanks Ken, I appreciate that. The set of Hogans with the 1 iron in the bag, have some bag chatter, and some face wear on them. The other set with the 2 iron in the bag, I bought new and never really played with them, they had #3 shafts in them, and I just let them sit in a box for a number of years. They have KBS tour x shafts in them now, that I purchased a year ago about this time. It took me most of the summer, trying to work out the proper loft and lie on them for me,and by the time I had it figured out, then it was to cold to play much.

I don't really sell clubs, I just buy more. So dont think the 585 is going anywhere. I have two son's that will be 18, and 20 in a few months. They like to go look at the old clubs, and figure out what they want to play. They get to be club ho's and not pay for it. The oldest is close to my size now, and the younger one is well on his way.

Thank you, I am working on a set of PC's. I am going to have them rechromed and brought back to original. But I know as soon as I get them done and back to me, with whatever shaft I decide to use, I will have to play those some too. The white, and black Cameo's, PC's and Redline's are just as sweet as anything made today. And have that butter feel to them, when hit properly, that compares to or is even better than any Mizuno.

I bought it because it had a taper tip Crossfire steel shaft in it. I pulled it before I ever hit it, and put a DGX100 Sensicore shaft for a 2 iron in it. While a lot of control, it was to heavy even for me, as I play my irons in the D6 to D8 range. So I looked for a while, and the aldila ebay store had the NVS taper tip 105x. This is about 25 grams less than the Dynamic Golf shaft and about about ten grams more than the crossfire.

After I made the change, then it is a wonderful club. I have the 21 degree, and it is one of the more anti-left clubs. Not till I bought the Titleist 585 did I find one close. I like the fact you can sweep it like a fairway wood, and gain an additional 20 yards, or hit down on it like and iron and it will hit a nice high shot for you. The 1,2,3 iron or any combination thereof, comes out of the bag as soon as the grass gets green and starts to thicken up.

In Kentucky, springtimes brings the greenery, but bluegrass is so thick, wet and lush its a great club to have. Plus you can hood it and punch it out of the woods. The club sets open, which I like a lot.

I like the 757, I have it one of the Bridgestone J33's. I think the J33 it is in has a slight crack in the face. And I havent been playing it since September. I am planning on pulling the shaft and putting it into another J33 that I own with a stiff shaft in it. I bid on it on Ebay back in the summer, and it looks new.

As for the 661, I was a very late conversion to graphite shafts. I always like a heavy swingweight, coming from baseball. The Mizuno head is a realtively heavy head, with a fairly high swing weight. The 661 is 3 grams more in weight than the stock shaft, so that adds a little more. My size has a lot to do with it also. I wear a 20 and half neck or 21 neck size and a 37 inch sleeve. I buy 3xl tall or 4xl everything. What I like about it is, no matter how hard you swing it wont lag behind. I mean I can make a normal swing and it has my normal straight ball that falls left at the end. But I can aim down the right side, and swing as hard as I can and I get a hard right to lefter, that runs like a scalded dog when it hits the ground.

I will be able to tell more this spring, when I get around to fixing the J33. I switch total bags about once a month, as I play basically the same with each one. I do call the three bags, winter, summer and -spring/fall.

If you notice in the picture of the three putters sitting against one of the bags. It has a midsize leather stitchback grip on it. I was kinda disappointed that it wasnt a hard grip, like the normal size stitchbacks are. I have had a red regular size stitchback on 3 different putters, since 2006. The swingweight of the putter went down drastically when I put that huge grip on it. So I had to add the lead tape back to it, to get it to play like it was intended too.

Gripmaster, and Gripmaster USA leather grips wear out on the top of the grip where u put them in and out of the bag. I am kinda anal about fresh cord grips, and leather grips with no splits in them. So it will wear out by fall I figure, and I will go back to another type grip. I will take the lead tape off then.
