Galvin Green

Anyone in the US order from overseas? I emailed a couple of places in Great Britain and have not gotten a response. Anyway to get my hand on these? Looking for gore-tex rain gear. I have ZR and do not like the jacket. Only other GT rain gear I have seen is SunIce and again emailed and no response. Business must be booming for these guys that you can not get any info on their products.

I have been looking into Galvin Green the last couple of days. The UK looks like our best bet. I e-mailed Premiumgolf but have not received a reply. They have all the Galvin Green products and seem to have the cheapest shipping. I wish I could find something in Canada but it seems they only sell through golf shops there are no golf stores.

Break out the wallet for the GG stuff, personally the quality is a bit better than Sun Ice but not so much better that it's worth twice the price. Just my $.02 You wont be disapointed with the quality of either.

Actually, Galvin Green is cheaper than SunIce. At least the items I am looking at. Wish SunIce would update their website.

I think being in Canada, and Sun Ice being a Canadian company, Sun Ice in the US may be priced higher than in Canada?

Guys, Galvin Green gore tex is worth tracking down. I have had more raingear than most over the last 25 years living in northern europe and it is the best by far. I thought quite a few UK retailers shipped to the USA. If you can't find one shoot me a PM, I have a friend with a Galvin Green account. When you order be careful about sizing, I normally take an XL but will go down to a L if sizes run big. My Galvin Jacket is an XXL!

galvin green clothing is great, only problem is the sizing in the waterproof gear.
the tops tend to be a little on the short side if your tall, im 6' 3" and find all the waterproofs and wind tops short in length.
but overall the gears top notch.

Sizing is the only thing that puts up a red flag. Do their sizes run true? I am in between a L & XL in the US. Using their size charts I will be a 3XL in the Alf trousers and a XXL in the Jacket. Undecided on the jacket looking at either the Axiom or Akin.

I'm 5'-10 1/2" would there be any problems?

I am between L and XL for the most part too and I need an XXL Jacket. That said I am 6'5" so I need the XXL for length more than anything but the XL is just too fitted on me to play golf in. These are small even by european sizes. I also have a cross waterproof jacket (they are sweedish too) and the XL is fine. Given what you say an XXL jacket is likely correct particularly if you are tall. Regarding trousers, I usually wear 36"waist trousers or jeans and I have the XL Alf trousers in the longest leg they do and they are perfect. I of course had the benifit of trying all this on before buying, given the cost I understand your concern. The worst thing is my friends and wife have had a lot of banter about me wearing XXL!

I have it on good authority, but not confirmed in any way, that Galvin Green is going to be sold in the US starting in March. I don't know how much of the product line is going to be offered. But it will allow those of us who are not for sure of size a better option than ordering from Europe.

I play all GG here in the UK; from under shirts to full waterproofs, the quality is worth the money and its guaranteed for life. The wind proof tops are superb.

I wear an xl in GG but a l in all other makes (5'11").

Trendygolf.com is suppose to start carrying Galvin Green in March. I have not spoken with them to confirm this, it was passed on to me from Galvin Green representative in Canada. Btw, you guys wearing XL in jackets have you tried any of the other tops for layering and did you get the same size?

i wear a lot of galvin green, trousers, tops, insula tops , water proofs. im 6'3 tall and find that the waterproof and wind stopper tops are a touch shorter than other makes.
but all in all galvin green gear is first class. if your in the US and can get your hands on it you'll not be disappointed.
