8620 vs 1018

1.How do these compare in terms of feel?
2.Would you consider scratch forgiving / playable compared to competition
3.Can you get custom grid ; say WLD on a 53 bent to 52 ( since they dont carry 52)

Unless you've hit a forged and a cast wedge, it's hard to describe the differences in feel. That being said...

1. The 8620's feel almost identical to the 1018's when hit pure, but I can certainly tell the 1018's are forged and the 8620's are cast.
2. Yes. The multiple grind options make it impossible to get a wedge that [i]doesn't [/i]fit your swing.
3. I think the WLD grind is Tour-Department only. However, the retail shop can bend the 53* to 52* with no additional cost.

Is it true that sratch is having production issues and there is major delays
in shipping time lines?
