Ogio Grom 2010 vs Ogio Ninja 2010

Anyone who have evaluated the new 2010 Ogio bags yet? I'm in the process of purchasing a new stand bag that i will mainly use on a cart but from time to time also carry around. E.g. when I practice at the range and such I would want to have a stand bag and found the Ogio alternatives to be perfect.

I also really like the new look with the all black Stealth-version. I hate big logos/branded bags and the new Ogios are really descrete when it comes down to looks (only apply for the Stealth/black. the other colours on offer are just plain ugly IMO).

Based on what I have seen on the specs, the Ninja is little heavier than the Grom, but IMO have a sleaker design and without the external holder for balls (that IMO look like crap).

Any oppinions would be interesting to hear! -thanx!

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the Ninja. It's not even listed on their website anymore. It's starting to remind me of the problems Ogio had bringing the Schling to market (and we all now how well that worked for them ...)

I like Ogio products (I actually own a Grom), but I would suggest being VERY careful about buying the first generation of a new product they come out with.

I was also interested in the Ninja bag, and sent an email to Ogio asking why it was removed from the web site. This is the response I got.

We'll see how that goes I suppose. Still have to get a new bag before the season starts.

Funny how Ogio's stealth scheme grew on me almost overnight. A year ago I wouldn't have even considered the thought, but I finally realized less is more....for me at least.

I went with the Ozone because I walk more than I ride. I considered the Grom but liked the smaller footprint and slightly lighter weight of the Ozone.

Whatever you do, don't get a Sun Mountain stand bag if you ride most of the time. I switched to Ogio because of that.
