I play the XC's in 3-8 and 9 & PW in c's. The XC doesn't come in a 2 iron, but you could bend a 3 to the necessary loft

I think these are some of the best forgings I've ever played. I definitely prefer the size of the C's, the XC's are a little bit bulky. I also prefer the trajectory of C's, a little more boring.

I believe there are a few others threads similar to this one for more info

I used the Snake Eyes 600C for awhile, I still have them and alternate between them and my J33 Bridgestone Combos. I hit my 7 iron 150 yards. These are quality forged clubs in my opinion, very compact traditional design, with very little offset. I have mine with Rifle MT 75 R flex graphite shafts built by Jim McLain of McLain Golf. Very forgiving, accurate, mid to high ball flight, nice chrome finish, thin topline and IMO as good as any other players forged CBs out there, they have the buttery feel of forged clubs. The narrow sole actually makes it glide or cut through the grass nicely IMO. They kind of look like the Titleist 690.CBs but a bit smaller I believe and the cavity back plus weight on the bottom is similar to Hogan Apex Plus. Along with the Srixon I 302s, Mizuno MP 32s and the J33 Combos (which I have used and liked), these Snake Eyes 600C are the best forged cbs for me.

I never tried the 600B because they look a little intimidating and I thought the 600XC look too big.

You can read some reviews on these clubs from golfreview.com. See links below.

If I remember correctly, they are softer in feel than the Titleist and maybe the Srixons, at par with the Bridgestones and harder than the Mizunos.

Not really much different in feel or softness, I had the Titleist and Srixons in steel so they felt a little harder. I played the Mizunos in their stock Exsar graphite shaft and I have Grafallo ProLogic in my J33s now so they feel softer at impact.

  • 2 years later...
I used the Snake Eyes 600C for awhile,

Can anybody tell me werther the 675C model is the new version of the 600C model?

Yes the 675c is the new version of the 600c. These irons 600 series or 675 series are on par with any of the oem forgings. The newer 675XC is alot smaller than the 600XC clubhead with less offset and a slim topline. The 675c are very similar to the 600C. They may be a little more forgiving because they are a little longer heal to toe. Other than that they have the same characteristics.

I played the 600C / 600B combo for 2 years and they are great. I am not playing so much anymore so I switched heads to the 675XC for a little more forgiveness.

I gamed the 600b 7-pw and 600c 3-6 and switched to the mp30s for a couple of seasons trusting the great reviews of these irons that they would be better. However, last year I switched back to the 600 series and I haven't looked back. I even got a set of mp67s earlier this year to try kick them out.

That being said, I feel the 600 series are very clean looking and have held up well over the past few seasons. I have them paired with the a set of rifle flighted shafts 6.5 +1"(definately my favorite shafts). I think the general idea of having component clubs built to your specifications is so valuable to my game and I'm a big fan of having clubs in my bag that not many other players have hit. All the time people ask to hit my clubs and often times people like them better than their OEMs.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
