Mac Golf Stats Beta Test

Want to get in on some Mac golf stats software beta testing?

I wrote more on my personal blog, but the gist is this: a friend and I are working on some Mac software that keeps track of golf statistics. We're looking for some ACTIVE beta testers to beat on the thing and help make for a great 1.0 release. Helpful beta testers will get a free copy AND will have their voices heard re: bug fixes, feature requests, etc.

I'll definitely be giving your blog another lookie-loo for this, but kudo's to you for putting this project together. :) I'm not quite sure I'd make the best beta-tester though, especially as I'm of the "no-trackable-stats-must-be-good-stats" train of thought. :crazy: But I am all about keeping the Mac-movement . . . moving.

edit: I may have to hold off for the retail release, I only have 10.3 running and (until now ;) ) haven't seen a need to switch just for the widgets. Looks like a very solid program though and I won't be missing out for too long!

I was wondering how the beta testing was going on this program and if you've got an expected "to retail" release date planned. I'm thinking I need to start budgeting for the new MacBook Pro, and while I'm all about improving my game, I'm also all about justifying new purchases. :yahoo:

Nope, but as it's not going to be Windows-compatible, it will be considered stable. :yahoo:

We'll find a Windows developer to create a Windows version at some point, too... and it's called, simply, "Scorecard."
