Proforce V2 in TM R580XD

I currently play R580XD with fujikura hyperlite shaft(??) from Dick's TM specials. The shaft is decent, but has a too high of a trajectory. I want to try proforce V2 in the R580XD and want some serious feedbacks from the gurus of golfwrx about this. Has anyone tried this config?? I love my R580XD and personally think it is better than some of the new TM drivers out now with MVT. I personally would not be able to get over the habit of changing the weghts constantly in the TM drivers with MVT, so I stuck with R580XD. Its amazing driver, but I think I would prefer a mid trajectory (proforce V2 65). is there other mid trajectory shaft with V2's pricetag??

 

I would like to hear from all the gurus about the shaft and the config. Any other shaft suggestions are welcomed!! so give me the info!!!!!

well, if you want to bring down ball flight, maybe a V2 75 would also aid in that. i personally, went through many 580xd heads and shaft combo's and it seemed no matter what i did, drives always went sky high......switched to a Titleist 983K and have been happy ever since.

The V2 75 is a great shaft and should bring your flight down. Also, the Aldila NV 75 is a great shaft with a lower ball flight. I love my Comp NT 85 I'm playing now in my R5. That also gives me a nice mid trajectory with low spin. You can't go wrong with any of those shafts.. Good luck.

I bought one of these on ebay last night with the UST Proforce TOUR shaft (those gray and black shafts UST made)in it. I struggle with a low ball flight. Hopefully this head shaft combo will help get the ball up for me. Loft is 10.5. I had a little bit of money in my account that I wanted to spend so I went with this club just to have. r580XD 10.5 stiff UST Proforce TOUR shaft.

 

Anything new on this TSUKASA?
