New Odyssey Putters Milled

check out the new odyssey putter, this is a hand milled proto, very sweet putter, head is a little light but puts a great roll on the ball.

Sign me up!!!! Where can I get one? I called Callaway/Odyssey Golf a week ago and I was told that these should hit the market by September. I can't wait!!!

Last time I was informed about these I was told there was no guarantee on coming to retail but it would be awesome if they did. I would definently have to rethink by putter choice if they were lauched.

If they add milled putters to their lineup, what are they going to drop?

 

They've already got the White Steel, XG, and Dual Force 2 series putters out. Four lines of putters seems like over saturation from a marketing standpoint. Look at it is as an average consumer. They go into a store, see the milled putter for a premium price, then a white steel for $50+ bucks less than the milled putter, which one do they buy?

 

Callaway needs to drop atleast one of their current lines before this comes out.

I would think that the original White Hot series will be axed when this putter is introduced. I think the White Hot XG is taking it's place with the new White Hot face insert. My guess is the Milled Series will sell for $200.00 to $225.00.

head weight is 330 gramish, i am used to the 350 gram putters, i was told that these putters will be tour only and cost around $1000 to make. Not many have been made. I doubt they will ever make it retail, odysseys whole putter line is based on the inserts, its their trademark.

hey all;these look sweet,bout time odyssey had a milled putter.my only question is even if these don't come to retail and stay tour only is this getting away from odyssey's trademark insert tech.that makes their putters stand out? i do agree though that a milled putter will get odyssey up todate with cameron and bettinardi among others.just a thought but a milled two ball or two ball blade would be cool.;)

I have a Tour Issued #1 and it's a sweet putter. The #1 is modeled after a Newport and the #2 is modeled after a Newport 2 in case anybody was wondering.
