Recommended Posts

MY 2010 BAG- Mizzy, Titleist, Scotty, TEE, Scratch

got my scratch 8260s finally....

2 Scratch 8620 wedges

- Scratch 8620- 53* DS- Raw Finish
- Scratch 8620- 60* SS- Raw Finish

i was able to get the special custom offers from Ari, so i got them done in raw finish with clean looking stamping with paintfils only on the stars and smileys.. i like the clean look

Driver
: Titleist 909D3 9.5* Aldila Voodoo Stiff Flex for Titleist

3 Wood
: Tour Edge Exotics XCG-V 15* Aldila Voodoo VS7 Stiff Flex

3 Hybrid
: Taylormade Rescue TP 09 19* Aldila Voodoo VS8 Siff Flex

Irons
: Mizuno MP 60 w/ Project X 5.5 Steel

Wedges
: Waiting for Scratch 8620 53DS 60SS Raw Finish

As of now: MP- R 52, 56, 60

Putter
: Scotty Cameron California Series Monterey - 34 in.

Bag
: Titleist Lightweight x86 Carry/Stand Bag - Kind of felt like going with this bright color since I never saw other people carry the same color.

Waiting for my backordered Scratch 8620s to arrive..... 53* DS & 60* SS, can't wait!

Grips-

Driver/Wood/Hybrid:
GP Multicompound

Irons:
GP M 21 for the irons... do these play just like the Tour Velvet??? never tried these before....

so... i got my first "brand new" iron set...
i only had preowned irons before.... all mizunos

i got Mizuno MP 60 w/ Project x Steel 5.5... this is my second set of MP 60s.... and 4th Mizuno iron set. previously played MP 33, MP 30, and MP 60
it was really hard for me to find a brand new set of these with the shafts combined....

From left to right is, MP 30 w/ DGS300, MP 60 w/ Project x Satin 5.5, MP 60 w/ Project x Steel 5.5

i tried all the new models... specially MP 62 and MP 58..... but they both weren't convincing enough for me to make the change.....

i bought a set of MP 60 w/ Porject x Satin 5.5 used before this new set.... but didn't like it... i think the previous owner reshafted them... ferrules were off size, length were 0.5 inch longer, and unlike most people... i like the steel project x version better than the old satin version.. feels better for me

here's the rest of the bag

also picked up these ball-zee ball cleaners... i think these are great, works better than i thought

Really like the set-up.

I also use the Ballzee and think it works great. Don't have to grab towel every time and keeps your pocket dry.

What grips do you have on your wedges?

its the tacki-mac, they were only about $10 for all 3 so i gave them a try... very sticky it'd even be ok to play without a glove... a little too thick for my taste but gonna stick with them until i get my scratch wedges

Nice bag. Good Luck keeping those whites clean, especially since your other grips aren't. Great bag though. Time to get them filthy.

There's nothing quite like the feeling of unwrapping a nice new set of irons, especially when they're Mizzy's! man_in_love.gif

yeah.... im afraid of bag chatter for the first time......... i know in a few days i'd get over it but as of now i even wanna get iron covers to protect them lol

A bit of bag chatter adds character, I use neoprene covers on my irons when they are in transit, and you'd be surprised how much of a difference that makes, and drape a towell inbetween the heads when on course.

+1 on the neoprene when traveling.

To the OP, out of your 15 clubs which one do you leave out of the bag the most? Great set by the way.

as of now i leave out my 3 iron because of my 52/56/60 wedge setup, but im switching them to 53/60 scratch 8620s i got pretty good with distance controlling within 100 yards with 52 and 60 so i think id be ok with just 53/60

so when my wedges come probably put the 3 iron back in or get the MP FLI HI 3 21*, i need all the help i can get when it comes to 3 iron.....

until last year i played the most at bethpage blue because their tee time is the fastest i could get from blue/red/black if i camp out in the parking lot and red if i dont have any plans in the afternoon, but planning on playing more on red and black this year so i think imma definitely need my 3 iron or 21/22* lofted club in my bag... red is seriously an underated course, very challenging course just like black, my score difference between red/black is less than red/blue which makes red closer to black than blue, all three courses are great though, i love them all!

any fellow ny metro area golfers??

do you always watch the clubhead all the way back? that is something you are going to want to stop if you want to be consistent. other than that, your swing looks pretty good. id like to see it in slow motion to give a better assessment

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
