What are the diferrences between the Ladies sets and the Mens? Is it just the shaft?

Are the Ladies heads lighter, or stronger lofts maybe?

If there are no substancial weight differences I may just reshaft a set of '80 Directors... I love that head.

In my experience (I have at least one set of Hogan Irons from every decade they were made, including a few ladies sets) some of the ladies heads have a smaller bore for the shaft, some have the same as the men's (I don't have the exact measurements, maybe someone here does.) as to the weight, I don't know if there is a weight difference between men's and women's heads. Maybe some of the club builders can speak to what the same weight heads would perform with the two different weight and flex shafts and possibly a smaller diameter tip.

I have a set of the 80's directors and love the head too! (That's why I got them. They look so sweet.) I would think twice about getting the ladies set since after taking my set to the shop and seeing how tightly matched the swingweights were through the set, I'd be worried that the ladies set is going to end up where the club heads are quite light, then you're going to have to look at adding a ton of lead tape to each head. I'm already looking at adding 8" of tape to each of mine to get them up from D2 to D6. Now the head doesn't look as nice as it used to without the tape.
