winning money off people

This question may seem dumb put quite frankly I can't seem to win money off of anybody right now. We usually play for $5-$10 for 9 holes. We can't usually play 18 because of homework and other school stuff. The person that shoots the lower score wins the money, no match play or anything like that. What I am looking for is some tips for how to keep a good round going and simply how to come from behind to win. The last couple times I have been even through 3 and then messed up on the next few holes. Also the last couple times I have been winning then lost my lead and ended up losing by 1 each time. Help would be appreciated ASAP!

pick conservative appraochs and swing aggressive if your in the lead, putt to make them(not to lag). carefully think things over, and just make sure your have enough energry if its after a busy day of school and such, a snack bar would be good

You just need to get out of your head when the S#$% hits the fan and win. Hit at the pins that favor your shot and middle of green when they don't. Maybe just play for more money, put some more pressure on your playing partners.
