Having trouble with my Sun Mountain bag...

Swift X, off balance

Hi gang!

I bought a Sun Mountain Swift X last season. The hole season I was trying to adjust the straps to make it hang balanced. The best I could get was to make it hang completely horizontally, forcing me to keep my left hand pressing down on the bag at all time to keep the clubs from falling out. Today I decided to really try to work it out, since I've always thought that someway it should work. My girlfriend and me spent over an hour, adjusting the straps and rotating and swapping the cushion parts of the strap, with out any luck. I simply cannot carry a full set of clubs (two woods one hybrid, rest irons and a putter) in this bag.

I keep reading here of people that are so satisfied with their Swift X bags, and some have even mentioned how well balanced their's are. It almost makes me wonder if I just got a sour example? Or do you that own one not carry a full set?

I like everything else about this bag, but it just isn't working out. Don't know if maybe the Titliest version, with the different strap system, might work better? Even though I guess the balance would be the same. Or should I just get a larger bag, built to carry more weight?

i have been carrying a swift x for several years. i carry a driver and 3 wood, 2 hybrids, 6 irons, 3 wedges and a putter. i have had no balance issues. i will say, though, that balance is kind of a misnomer as a perfectly balanced bag would result in all of the clubs falling out of the end. ideally, you want the bag to have just enough uphill slant to distribute weight across both shoulders while not being so 50/50 that clubs slide out.

if i were you, i'd have my bag by my side and call customer service to see if they can help. good luck.

I had the titleist version first but I snapped the stand(anger) so I decided to get the sun mountain one to replace it love them both, haven't had any issues with the balance but I did like the straps better on the titleist version, seemed to sit on the shoulders better
