Nike SasQuatch not working with Diamana

I have a Nike SasQuatch 9.5 Stiff with the stock Diamana shaft. I usually have a high ball flight, like my previous drivers (Titleist 983K, Callaway 454 Ti, and TaylorMade r5 dual) they all had a pretty high ball flight. But since I bought this driver its been low, real low. Its good against the wind since I live in Hawaii, but its not getting a lot of carry since its so low. I was thinking of buying a Grafalloy ProLaunch 55 Stiff, is that a good idea?

What types of shafts did you use in your previous drivers,and some shafts that are labeled stiff frequency out to a whole different flex.Prolaunch blue is a good choice if you want to increase your carry yardage,but i try to get fitted if possible to get your correct flex and swingweight. :crazy:

Wow....a low ball flight with a Nike SQ using any shaft is something...

what shafts did you use in your other drivers?

 

the sasquatch, as well as the hibore, are great drivers once you find the right shaft which is going to be different than what your use to playing. the sasquatch is a lower spinning driver head. what you think is a trajectory problem could in fact be a lack of enough spin and the ball is just falling out of the sky.

 

i went and got a sq tour 9.5* w/ aldila nv-75 and a sq 9.5* w/ aldila nv-75 to compare against my ignite 410 9.5* w/ aldila nv-75 which at the point was the greatest driver i had ever hit. the sq tour was just like hitting my ignite except i got a slightly higer trajectory, more ball speed, and same spin on the launch monitor. on the course i found myself 10 yards further up the fairway than i would be with the ignite. the sq had a tad lower trajectoy and more ball speed than my ignite, but the big difference was the spin, over 1,000 rpm less spin. my ball would just die. i eneded up playing with a couple of shafts and ended up getting a v2 and its perfect now. i've got a higher trajectory, but not too high - need to contend with the north texas winds - and i'm getting more spin on the ball so the ball doesn't just fall out of the sky. i'm also getting a lot of roll - sometimes too much. so, for me, i had to go to a mid kick, medium tip shaft rather than the high kick, tip stiff shaft i always had success with.

Anyways, I'm having similar issues. I bought a Nike SQ 10.5* with stock diamana stiff after hitting bombs at the driving range. Previous driver was a R7 quad 10.5 with stock M.A.S regular flex. My swing speed varies anywhere from 90-100.

 

Since that first time out though, I have really been struggle with the SQ. Missing right a lot. I know a big part is my swing, where the ball takes off straight, then after awhile just starts going right, and then keeps going right. I can't hit a draw with it at all, only duck hooks if I really try. Thinking of maybe trying a different shaft? Any suggestions?

What kind of swingspeed you got golfernut?

 

100-105 with the driver, but i think it might be a little higher than that now, because the last 3 weeks my drives have been a little bit longer than normal. could be that the fairways are just firmer.
