Callaway FT Tour Org.14 Cart Bag vs Tour Authentic Staff Bag
Hello all,

Does anyone have an opinion on these two bags?
I'm leaning towards the Callaway FT Tour Org.14 Cart Bag. But is it a true tour bag?
I'm really wondering what the difference between the two except for the colors.
Is the Fabric different? I thought they were both Nylon and Leather.
Anyone have any thoughts?
Also, do these bags ever go on sale?
Thanks in advance!

It's not a true tour bag. It's a cart bag. What you see and think is leather might not neccessarily be leather. Overall it's a very nice/fancy bag with lots of large pockets and storage areas. The only thing I don't like is that the clubs get stuck together at the grips when I have the bag on my push cart leaning at an angle. Even though there are 14 separate pockets, they are not completely separate all the way down. I'm thinking of putting those plastic tubes down each pocket to keep each club completely separated.

The Callaway FT Tour Org.14 Cart Bag does not have the large back pocket that the true tour bag has. the big side pockets don't join togeather.
I have the same complaint as buttub, the grips bind when I have it on my Sun Mountain cart. Lots of compliments though, it does look sharp.
No glove holder and only one ring for towel, no small areas to clip other items on. Umbrella pocket is nice took a while to find it.
I have decided not to return mine and live with it, may try the tubes as well.

I have the Callaway Tour Staff Bag, (the one on the left), but it is last years model. It's essentially the same bag however. One thing that I find that is a bit of a pain is the strap on the staff bag is in the front where the ball pockets are (although your photo doesn't show the strap, you can see the buckle under the handle). That strap is always in the way when on a cart, when trying to get to the pockets.

Also, you can tell that the other one is meant for carts since the strap is on the other side (back) and the top angles down towards the front for better access to your irons. With the staff bag (when on a cart), the woods are in the front and irons in back so you have to grab the irons from the side.

Just a couple of nit-picking details to consider.

I have th same worries, that the org.14 is really meant for a riding cart, not for a push cart. The wedges will be on the wrong side of the divders, also if you have the clubs arranged in a manner that is user friendly on a push cart, the moment you carry that bag using the strap in the "back", the club heads will clang together and your long irons or hybrids will hit the shafts on your driver and woods....

For those that use the org.14 on a push cart, can you guys post some pics?

I would love that the org.14 will work great on a push cart, but seems like it'll be a lot of trouble transporting the bag and the driver/woods aren't getting the full length protection.

That's great information. Thanks.
It's tough to visualize from pictures and in store.
Those nit-picky items are good to know.

Can you show us how it looks on your sun mountain cart?

Could you place the bag with the strap facing down on the push cart?
That way you could access the ball pocket.

The bag looks impressive, but I don't want it to wreck my grips.
I'm surprised that it does not have a glove holder.
One thing which would be nice is a putter tube.

I have this bag and use it in my clicgear 3.0 without any worries. Transporting the bag to the driving range isn't a problem either. On the pushcart, the ball pocket is placed outwards (strap inwards). Club arrangement and design is good. No worries about that.
