Does anybody have any feedback on wilson x31 irons?

The X-31's, to my knowledge, first came out in the mid to late 60's. Perception was that they were the top of the line Wilson club. Kind of like the Elite was to the Spaulding line. Its a forged, heavy sole blade, a little heaftier looking than the traditional Wilson blade. It was used by a number of Wilson pros, none of which I can name at this time. The club then seemed to disappear from the marketplace, but the re-appeared, as I recall, sometime in the late 70's or early 80's as a cast version of the original. I suspect, to be principally sold at the big retailers, not a pro club! Beyond this, I can't give you much more info.

Err which model. As stated above there was the blades in the 60-70s. I seem to recall a cavity back in the 80s, that I think was a Wilson staff club; and now days there is a low cost full set on the market thru big box stores

Interesting topic. I just ran across a set of these while checking out "junk" clubs at a local thrift store last week. I'd never seen them before. These must have been the earlier version because they definitely weren't cavity backs. The set contained the 2-PW IIRC. Don't remember a SW. They seemed to be in pretty nice shape, that's what made them stand out from the rest of the clubs in a tub.
Any idea of what these are worth??

this is the one. is it any good?

The one in the pic I had that model in 1985, loved them. When I was a Freshman in HS I had an avg of like 38.7 for 9 holes and was a pretty good jr. player. A guy on the team had a set of these and I really liked the look of them and found a used set in mint shape. I remember really cherishing those clubs, they were solid. Great vintage sticks for sure.
