Need caddy for US Am qualifier in Cincinnati

Aug 1 at Camargo Club

My friend who was going to caddy has a family obligation so I'm completely screwed :cheesy:. I've always had friends caddy for me but my luck has run out. I'm extremely desperate and I'm willing to pay. If you're generous enough to save me from a horrid 36-hole doom, PM me :smilie_cally:

Tee times are 7:30am for the first 18 and 12:30pm for the second 18 in threesomes.

I can throw in one of my fairway woods or wedges as payment :)

There's also a practice round July 31 but I doubt anyone would want to commit to that as well.

Where are you qualifying?

It appears Camargo has push carts available.

It also appears they have caddies available at the club (I have NEVER played at that fancy of a club). Is it going to cost something outrageous? :drinks:

You might want to check the rules on push carts. In 2001 I went to a US Mid Am qualifier and took a push cart I bought the night before because my caddy backed out. When I showed up at the event, I was told that push carts were not allowed.

Luckily we were playing in threesomes and the other two guys had caddies riding in carts with the clubs. I was able to put my clubs on one of the carts. Huge relief since it was 90+ degrees and humid in September in Florida.

Just check with the rules officials prior to the event to be sure.

Get a local caddy. Shouldnt cost you more than 50 with a tip.(per round)...call ahead and arrange someone who is experienced and not a kid trying to earn some bucks. Read the interview with Fuzzy Zoeller in Golf Magazine....he even recommends that approach for Augusta. Who knows a course better than someone who walks it daily? Makes sense to me....and it worked for him when he won the Masters.
