Bushnell Medalist

Anybody know about the Bushnell Medalist? I am considering getting one. They seem pretty solid as well as inexpensive. Anybody have one? I would appreciate feedback. Thanks.

I bough one from Golfsmith and used it for two rounds and it was not that good. I went back to the store to trade up for a Pinseeker 1500. You get what you pay for. There is definitely something to the Pinseeker technology because the Medalist picked up a lot of trees in the background.

I've had mine for about two years now.

I Love it. The size is perfect, and the 9 volt batteries are long lasting and inexpensive to replace. Personally, I've had no issues with background clutter.

I played with a guy who's Son is/was an engineer for Bushnell. He was told the pinseeking "guts" of the rangefinders were all the same. The differences are in the shells and optics.

I've got a medalist and it works great for me. Not much care needed, as the batteries last for more than a season.

Mine doubles as my hunting rangefinder and it just helped me take a 6 x 6 elk in Wyoming near Jackson Hole 2 weeks ago.
