What course should I play durring Thanksgiving

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club Ocean Course is very nice. Another very nice course not far from there is The Golf Club of Amelia Island at the Ritz Carlton. If you have time to drive alittle bit, check out The King & Bear at World Golf Village, or The Ocean Course at Hammock Beach. All are superb courses and if price is an issue, you can probably play three of them for what it'll cost you at TPC Sawgrass. If you only have time for two, I'd recommend King & Bear and Hammock Beach Ocean Course.

Ponte Vedra Inn is a club and resort. I was able to play it without staying there via a hookup from a local club, but I understand the walk up green fee is steep. If you are looking to stay in the area you might check into a golf package there. It's a very nice "old money club" for lack of a better term. Hammock Beach is a resort but you can get a tee time there thru golfnow.com. If you want to play it that's the route I'd suggest. Don't stay there just to play the course. I've played TPC Sawgrass twice and it's not worth it, poorly conditioned both times. King & Bear is very nice, played it 2x as well. Superb mixture of Palmer & Nicklaus holes; as they're intermingled...not two 9 hole courses lumped together.
