I've tried them and they work great. The value of the ball is that they don't feel like hitting rocks in colder weather. That's exactly how they perform.

I respectfully disagree about the name. I think the name is good.

I talked with Curtis ( http://www.clubguygolf.com/ ) about them a few weeks ago. He worked with a ball manufacturer to come up with a formulation specifically designed to work in cold weather - meaning about 50* and below.

I've got a sleeve but haven't had a chance to play them just yet. I've heard good things about them and like the idea of supporting a local small business though.

Once I get a chance to try them out, I'm probably going to post an article about them on my site.

You will like them. If you're playing this weekend in the Raleigh area it will be optimum temps to pull one out. I suggest you hit the ball you play most of the time first and then hit the Coldfusion for a comparison. You'll be surprised at the feel of the Coldfusion ball. It'll make your regular ball seem like a rock.

Best of luck.

I honestly don't know about the golf balls. They might well be wonderful. But google "cold fusion" and check out the careers of the 2 PhD physicists who thought (and I believe even honestly thought they were sure) they were on their way to a Nobel Prize with their discovery of how to power the needs of the whole US of A for decades from a cup of water or two.

"Cold fusion" rings alarm bells. But maybe I am old enough that the consuming public does not have my memories. And maybe the golf ball really is pretty good. All the best to them.

All the best to ColdFusion golf balls, sorry to use them as a foil for satire and sarcasm, but this is me, ole HonketyHank, reporting through a very hairy eyeball view. Feel free to discount everything here because, as admitted, I have never seen, used, or found a ColdFusion golf ball. All I can say is that I would use a different name, like maybe "FarGo" or "GoStr8" or "EverDry" or "NeverLost" or "OB-Not". How about "Roswell Area 51 Technology"? Woooo. Do do doo do, do do doo do.

"ColdFusion" just makes me snicker and say "wow, probably needs a zolex hammer to trigger the reaction". We are talking marketing names here. Gimme a dozen to try out, or let me find a few on the course to indicate that somebody is using them, but so far, hairy eyeball city.

Happy New Year.
