Hi all,

looking to get a set of mizuno mp30's w/s300 shafts.

Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on them. I checked in the reviews section, but didnt find anything on the mp30's.

You don't need too much feedback. One of the best irons of all time...they've already been proven.

From my clubs and from what I have read on the boards the MP30's have recieved mixed reviews.

Many said that the MP33's were actually more forgiving than the MP30's. There were also alot of comments about how they did not have the "forged" feel of other Mizunos. I played with them for a couple of years and now I'm just getting ready to sell them. They produce a lower ball flight than most CB's which I really liked.

To me they were reasonably forgiving. However, the 9 and PW have to much offset and are just plain clunky looking, I could never get used to them. It's a good set of clubs but unless you are looking for a bargin you should look at the MP60's if you want to stay with Mizuno's or other OEM CB's on the market. FYI if you do get them make sure to check the lie angles, mine were way off and I hit the clubs horribly until I noticed the lies had to be adjusted. JMHGO.

I love mine. I went from Tommy Armour 845s to the MP30, mostly because of positive information on this forum. I have not played a lot of different irons, so I really can't compare the Mizuno's to other newer clubs. I can say that they feel great when struck well. I like the way they look too. However they are probably not the most forgiving iron, if that is what you're looking for. I have the S300 shafts also, except I am trying a Rifle in the nine iron. 90% sure I will go back to S300. If you type MP30 in the GolfWRX search window you should find much more information. Hope you enjoy your search.

I love mine. Best iron I've ever played. When the MP-60s came out, I tried them expecting to be blown away based on all of the wonderful reviews. They were very nice clubs but I preferred the 30's. From the posts I've read, they have a rep for being unforgiving, but I have not found them difficult to hit.

See my signature info below - All Mizuno. I gave up by B.H. Apex edges for MP3-'s and never looked back. I liked them over the MP32's when they came out.

I've played the MP-30's for over 2 years and love them. I played Ping Eye 2's and i3's for 15 years before that and I didn't notice much difference in off-center hits between the MP-30s and Pings. I have Rifle shafts in mine and if I had to do it over again I would go with the S300. Definitely test them and get fit for them.

I fell in love with the blade like look and slim top line. They feel just like butter as do all mizuno's. I tried the MP 60's but the top line was too thick for my style of golf. Grew up in the early 70's so everything was a blade. They are forgiving however I needed help in the lover irons and kept the MP 30 in 7-PW.

I've had the MP30s for about two years, switched from apex edges. the lower irons are a bit clunky, so i switched 7-Pw in the MP32s this season. Pretty good feel, and the long irons seem pretty forgiving, I get away with murder. I tried the 60s, and they're too big, i didn't get the control i was looking for. MP30s are a solid call.
