Would like a caddy job..please help

Not sure what courses still have them?

So I live in Silver Spring, Maryland and would like to find a caddying job. The problem is I am somewhat new to the area and have no clue what clubs have caddies. I know a lot of the private clubs don't have them anymore but I am thinking there has got to be some that still do. If anyone know of any clubs around the dc/baltimore area that have caddies please let me know. Any help would be much appreciated.

I believe Bulle Rock in Harford County still used caddies Not sure if that is too far for you

Caddie Master (I think it's www.CaddieMaster.org) provides the caddies to local Maryland suburb courses. I believe the provide the caddies at Congressional, Woodmont, and also TPC Potomac. Some of the older courses like Congressional, Columbia and maybe Woodmont have a very few caddies as employees, and the rest (during busier times) may get subcontracted out to Caddie Master or similar company like that. Those are the opportunities you will probably qualify for.

Try the website and/or try calling some golf courses directly. Tell them where you live and where you'd like to caddie. I believe you have to go through training with CM to make sure you're doing things the Caddie Master way - but in general I think the ones that pass the test do a very good job.

I'm sure higher end courses have them. Look for private clubs where memberships are over 100k. All those courses have them. I know Liberty Nat'l, brand new NJ course, starts at 500k and they have full time caddies that make $200+ per bag.

Also, tell the caddie master you are familiar with golf, assuming you are, and that you've caddied before, assuming you did lol. I skipped right over training at a couple courses saying that; although, it was all true lol.
