Mike is awesome

Just had the opportunity to speak with Mike McKennon - what a class act!


I was having some issues with a leather bag not made by his company hoping to see if he could help me out - he provided me with a couple of great options, ones that would not be making him money at all but would be solving my issues. Then he called me back to see how I was fairing and if I needed anything else!


What a class act :clapping: - his love for the game and knowledge of the industry is very apparant when you talk to him -

Just wated to give a shout out to him, I have not recieved that level of customer support in years, where the objective was to solve the issue and not make a quick buck - it seems like the intuitive thing to do but in this world of disposable everything I think true customer service has been lost.

Couldn't agree more. Mike is the best. Made me two great bags. Anytime I have a problem or issue he's quick to response and always helpful. First started out talking with Mike and Todd at MacKenzie. Tried to get ahold of Todd for a second time and he never got back to me. I emailed him same thing. Figured if I cna't get a hold of him to spend money imagine if I have an issue that's going to cost him money no chance. One that note, one of the members of my club saw my bag and told me he had a mackenzie as well. He then went on to tell me that they kept his bag for 2 YEARS for a repair. And to top it off he was on his fifth bag. I know with Mike that I'm going to get things fixed in a timely manner and this is the last leather bag I'll buy. Unless of course I need multiple colors:)

He may be a great customer service guy, but i would appreciate the product more if there was some creativity or innovation. Simply piggy backing onto the Mackenzie Golf Bag warranty and 100% design rip is inappropriate. I hope he does well with the Jones bags and stops the other silliness.
