Shaft and driver head combination

It's my first post :wave:

Which combination will give optimum result assuming my swing is like the robot :cheesy:

Lower loft driver head with low kick shaft OR higher loft with high kick shaft. Swing speed is around 105 - 110mph with a smooth tempo.

There are entirely too many variables to consider to peg that down though.

Thanks for the reply. Assuming all the variables remain constant, would higher kick and higher loft still will give more distance?

In many cases, yes. The majority of golfers will benefit from a loft between 9-11 degrees.

Assuming of course you can load the shaft you're using.

Thanks for the reply. I will try an R11 10.5 with fubuki tour 63S. If it doesn't work then fubuki alpha 63S. Swing speed is 105-110mph.

Yeah, with the swing speed you have, you should have no problem loading a stiff shaft at all. You may even want to tip the shaft .5-1 inch. Generally, tipping a shaft will lower spin numbers by 200-500ish, depending on your angle of attack and stuff. IF you can, you really should get fit, it'll take all this guess work and speculation out of play.

Tried the new driver today and it felt great. No launch monitor available on the range but I felt the ball spin a bit too much. Perhaps I didn't tip .5 inch as you suggest? I was afraid the shaft will feel too stiff.

Yeah a higher kick shaft will lower launch and no need really to tip a stiff at 105-110....lower loft to 9 degrees that will lower spin. Could you tell if you were getting more distance? Worst way to demo club is no monitor on range, you need to play it or have a monitor setup....my two cents

Noticably when I play in my home course, my old adams speedline classic 9.5 trajectory a bit lower and further ( carry distance ) compare to the R11 set at neutral. The harder I swing, the higher the ball flight :-(
