Anyone know a good teacher in the Philly PA area??

I've heard good things about the teaching pro at my local Golf Galaxy. I guess it's true, because he's booked completely throught OCTOBER 10th, the last date they show! Jeez oh man!

I really need to take lessons before the fall, because my driving range ar pansies, they close when the temp drops below 50 degrees. I don't want to pick someone out of the phone book, does anyone know a decent teacher in the Philly/Montgomery County area? I need to rebuild my swing after a 5-year layoff. I'm not a beginner, but I need some fundamental help.

I've been taking lessons from Brian Quinn at the BQ golf academy in Conshohocken (as have a lot of my friends and co-workers).

He was a PGA touring professional (for 13 years) who worked with Bob Toski. Great guy and very knowledgable.

I would definitely recommend him.

Lee is a phenominal instructor. He was a featured instructor on TGC's "How Low Can You Go", and since that aired he's been booked solid.

He was a PGA touring professional (for 13 years) who worked with Bob Toski. Great guy and very knowledgable.

I would definitely recommend him.

I'm not saying your friends isn't a good player, but being a good player at the professional level doesn't have anything to do with his/her ability to teach golf and give instruction.

Heck, Leadbetter can't break 80!

I actually managed to get a swing analysis session booked for Sunday September 3rd. Leigh told me that his calendar appears full but that's just because he hasn't put everything online yet. I am hoping he'll see how much help I need and somehow fit me in during the evenings or on a weekend. I really think that a swing analysis coupled with a few lessons and some hard work will get me playing a whole heck of a lot better. I sort of know what my problems are, I just need confirmation and drills to fix 'em. I'll let you all know how things go.

Thanks! Tee's is the range I use, and I've seen the signs there. Nice to hear from someone who recommends him. If I can't get anything else booked with Leigh, I'll definitely take some lessons with Brian. I pretty much play golf year-round, I don't take much of a layoff. So I don't think I'll learn how to swing properly then forget it by spring.

If there's no snow on the ground, it's a good day for golf! :cheesy:
