I played Hawks View for the first time ever in early May. Nice course, I shot an 84, started Triple, bogey, double but turned it around nicely for the last 15 holes, less a double for a ball in the water on 12. I liked the course though, just a hike for me north of MKE.

Its a very nice course. Its amazing how nice they have kept it during the drought. I think the back plays a lot easier than the front. Number 1 doesn't seem like it would play too hard, but theres not a lot of room to miss with everything sloping down towards the long grass and that green is VERY tough. I really enjoy it tho

I agree on everything, the front is the harder nines of the two. I like the view from the 17th tee, top notch, fun little hole. The first green is absolutely brutal. I four putted, not a good way to start my round!

17 is awesome. Not sure if it is true, but I hear that is the highest point in Walworth county. Sometimes I get up there and forget I'm playing golf. I play the course probably 3-4 times a week and still have no figured out 1's green. It just has so many little breaks that throw your putt off.

I'd buy that as the highest point in the county. I could have sat up there for an hour just looking out over the valley, I loved it. A buddy of mine likes to play that course, I'll send you heads up if we ever head down that way again this summer.

I think Hawks view is a great course and is the most affordable in all of lake geneva.
